WHAT PLATFORMS ARE SUPPORTED?
Skye: The Misty Isle will be available exclusively on PC throughout its development journey, including any and all Pre-Alpha and Early Access phases.
We understand the anticipation for a console experience and are currently working hard to implement controller support to enhance accessibility for our PC players.
We are already exploring release options for both Xbox and PlayStation consoles in preparation for Full Release. We are working hard to ensure that our game is available across as many platforms as possible, and is open to all gamers, regardless of their preferred platform.

CAN I PLAY WITH FRIENDS?
There are currently no plans to introduce multiplayer elements during the Pre-Alpha phase.
However…
We do intend to introduce multiplayer features during Early Access. We are working on featuring a range of dedicated servers to accommodate, player vs player (PvP), player vs environment (PvE), creative and hardcore modes.
We want to cater to as many different playstyles and preferences as possible to allow players to express their creativity, challenge their skills, collaborate and engage with others, and craft their own unique stories on the Misty Isle.

HOW ACCURATE IS THE MAP?
The game has two incredibly detailed 256 km2 maps of the Isle of Skye, Scotland, and Mørsvikbotn, Norway. These maps were generated to a 1:4 scale using highly precise real-world heightmaps to ensure that the terrain, elevation, and features, accurately portray the real-world landscapes.
As you traverse the maps, you’ll come across three distinct location types that contribute to the immersive experience:
Historical
Faithful recreations of documented historical sites, bringing to life the rich history of the regions in meticulous detail.
Theoretical
Adapted versions of current settlements, giving players a glimpse into what areas might have looked like in that era.
Fictional
Realistic and minimalistic gameplay sets that fill in any sparse areas with visual storytelling and additional questlines.
